une minute avec la lune

~ une minute avec la lune ~

Hello.  Me again
first, let me apologize
for getting it wrong

keeper of secrets
you knew all my desires
and yet, you were tied

I asked the wrong things
you could send my love to him
but not bring his back

I understand now
I can’t will specific love
I can’t wish for his

but I can, and do,
wish him love and happiness
his own, to explore

and for me, dear moon
your presence my one constant
your lesson, received

it’s a new chapter
of my secret diary

I seek only truth.

  1. I love it - feels like that moment when the pieces fall into good spots.

    1. I think it's that moment when you realize the pieces are going to fall where they will, and accepting that.

    2. sometimes accepting is the feel good spot - the spot that allows you to quit spinning your wheels and move ahead

  12. Do you ever think the moon is patronizing when it comes to affairs of the heart. I tend to think it smiles when we smile and cries when we cry. Beautifully and wonderfully described feelings of the heart. I felt every word, and enjoyed the music video too. <3 Leta

    1. Sometimes I do, but I also think sometimes I put too much hope into the moon. Still, I can't help but think she knows all ;) Thanks, dollface. Love you <3
